These terms cover your use of Food Flip. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

What Food Flip is

Food Flip is a community site for classic recipes and "flips" — user-submitted remixes of those recipes. Anyone can browse; an account is needed to create, like, or report a flip.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• Give us accurate information, and keep one account per person.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.

Your content

You own what you submit. By posting a flip (including any photo), you give Food Flip a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it as part of the site — that's what lets us actually show your flip to other people. You confirm that whatever you post is your own work, or that you have the right to share it.

Flips are meant to be genuine remixes of the classic they're attached to, not unrelated recipes or spam — other users can flag a flip as "not a flip" (along with spam and offensive content) using the report button. A flip that collects enough reports is automatically hidden from public view pending our review. We may also remove content or accounts at our discretion, particularly for spam, harassment, offensive material, or copyright infringement.

Rules

Don't use Food Flip to:

• Post spam, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content.
• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Upload a photo or recipe you don't have the rights to share.
• Scrape, abuse, or try to circumvent rate limits or other technical protections.

Food and recipe content

Recipes and flips on Food Flip are submitted by the community, not professionally reviewed for nutritional accuracy, allergen content, or food safety. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, double-check ingredients yourself before cooking — don't rely solely on what's written here.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Food Flip infringes your copyright or other rights, email support@foodflip.app with a description of the content and where it appears, and we'll look into it.

Ending your use of Food Flip

You can stop using Food Flip at any time, and can request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

No warranty

Food Flip is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any recipe or flip is accurate, safe, or suitable for your needs.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Food Flip and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to Food Flip is limited to the amount (if any) you've paid to use it — which today is nothing, since Food Flip is free.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use Food Flip after a change means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
